After seeing a post recently where someone thought they'd lost all their custom presets, I thought it would be a good idea to create a Thread just for GUITAR RIG 4. I've been using it for a while and I'm a big fan. I've created a wad of great presets and I'll share them here. IF YOU HAVE PRESETS TO SHARE PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING IN EACH POST 1.)The preset file archived in a zip file e.g (killerpreset.zip) 2.)An MP3 Preview of how the preset sounds. 3.)A picture/screen grab of how the preset looks (just a quick visual reference so we can see what fx are being used) Hopefully there are other Guitar Rig 4 users on GMC and this will be a place for us all to share spiffy presets.
Mar 15, 2009 Also, on the first 2 albums, Metallica used Marshall amps. Kill em All is a modded Marshall JMP 2203 (basically a JCM800). That amp got stolen, so on Ride they used stock JMP's with a tubescreamer, which James hated saying that all of the distortion should come from the amp. 'Guitar Rig Presets Online is all what Guitar Rig users need. This Website is the best and easiest way to find the appropriate sound for your riffs. - Metallica 36.
I think you are gonna LOVE Guitar Rig They should send me a Tshirt for pimping them so hard! I'm a big fan of the Native Instruments KOMPLETE package which contains Guitar Rig. I was using the FREE version which is handy and was thrilled to get the real thing. Here is my First Preset!
GUITAR RIG 4 PRESET NAME: 'DOUBLE CHUNK' DESCRIPTION: Tubey/Bluesy With WADS of Gain. PREVIEW FILE ( 317.47K ) Number of downloads: 16373 PRESET FILE ( 5.35K ) Number of downloads: 7849 Enjoy! I think that's a great idea Putting a 'Tone Tip' with each lesson and maybe including a preset if software was used.
Or maybe a little diagram showing amp settings if it's through an amp. Todd quote name='carminemarotta' date='Dec 24 2010, 04:34 PM' post='509936' Something similar, regardless of the amp or software used, should be put in the main page of every lesson, like for the scale used. It will make easier to recreate the tone of the lesson. Just my idea.
Carmine /quote. DARTH VADER DUET (GUITAR RIG 4 CUSTOM PATCH) Back to the signature wall of gain with lower octave growl.
Upon listening to it, 'Darth Vader Duet' came to mind. Preview ( 1.1MB ) Number of downloads: 11106 Patch ( 5.61K ) Number of downloads: 4313 Tone Settings Thanks I'm loving GUITAR RIG 4. It comes with the RAMSTEIN add on now which is very handy. I've spent countless hours mucking about with the software to create some cool sounds. I'm going to post all of the good ones here in this thread. If you've got some spiff ones please feel free to share them here Todd.
